Inspiration

The spark for Augur came from observing how diverse sources—be they social platforms, market data, or everyday people—often hold pieces of the same puzzle. Traditional analysis tools tend to focus on a single angle, whereas we wanted to combine multiple perspectives into one cohesive system. We were inspired by the concept of “wisdom of the crowds” and wondered: What if we leveraged each viewpoint—social sentiment, fundamental data, and direct human feedback—to build a more accurate forecasting engine for real-world events?

What It Does

Augur is designed to act like a personalized investing assistant, powered by multiple specialized AI agents. Each agent has a distinct focus:

Social Media Agent: Gathers real-time public sentiment and trending discussions. Fundamental Agent: Analyzes raw market data, historical facts, and context to form a baseline understanding of events. Swarm Agent: Coordinates a network of human callers, capturing fresh, on-the-ground perspectives. Together, these agents feed into a central intelligence that merges their insights, providing predictive analytics for events ranging from elections and policy decisions to pop culture phenomena.
