Audible Image

Inspiration

In a similar way to how texting was made for deaf people, this could be used to read images for the blind.

What it does

It provides an audio description of an image you provide.

How we built it

We used Google Vision API to provide a description of the image and then used a text to speech API to create the audio part.

Google API stuff is annoying at times.

What's next for Audible Image

This type of software has the potential of being used in combination with a camera that can provide live feedback of the image its seeing.
