Inspiration
- We took our daily office life as inspiration for making it more likewise way.
What it does
- It just checks data from face recognition and processes it with data in the database to give that the employee is present in the office without any forgery possible.
How we built it
- We used Python as our core language proving functionalities like Tkinter for providing with basic GUI required to run the app and a model to check image data and process at an efficient time while making as least as possible errors.
Challenges we ran into
- The most problematic challenge is to host the basic while reducing the time lag in the process and making the GUI more interactable from anywhere.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- That we were finally able to complete the app and are also able to minimize the time latency required in normal face detection apps.
What we learned
- We learned various things that we were not familiar with from our mistakes while revising the model or hosting the page or making the algorithm work fluently.
What's next for Attendance System using face recognition
- We will try to further improve the GUI present and add other features that are missing like the user's report or something to make the user experience more memorable currently the whole project is just the backend based dealing least to GUI and frontend, we will try to bring both to equilibrium.
