Inspiration
We got the idea for this project from the situation that we all are facing due to covid. The Pandemic has forced us to stay and work from home . We all have been forced to attend our academic classes online.
What it does
It maintains the attendance of candidate by detecting their faces.
How we built it
Using open cv and face-detection library.
Challenges we ran into
We all know that create face detecting model from scratch is not an easy task . It takes lots of resources and time. So every time creating a face detection model can be pretty messy tasks . So We used a library face-detection which comes very handy while training face detection models.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to collect the attendance data using this project.
