Inspiration Tracking attendance manually is time-consuming and error-prone. We wanted to simplify this process by creating a reliable system that works across various work modes—office, remote, or field.

What it does The system allows users to log their check-in/out times, work status (office/remote/field), and breaks. It centralizes records for easy access and offers role-based views for employees and admins.

How we built it We used a user-friendly platform to design the interface and logic. The backend relies on structured data storage (like Excel or sheets) for logging and reporting attendance, with simple validations and access controls.

Challenges we ran into Handling multiple work modes in one system Ensuring accurate and consistent manual entries Designing a clean and intuitive user experience Keeping the system scalable and easy to maintain

Accomplishments that we're proud of Developed a functional system with minimal complexity Ensured real-time tracking with role-based access Maintained clean, exportable records for reporting Created a smooth experience for both users and admins

What we learned How to map real-world attendance workflows into a digital system The value of simplicity and clarity in user interfaces How to build scalable logic using low-code/no-code tools

What's next for Attendance Management System Automating time logging through mobile or location-based features Adding leave request and approval workflows Introducing basic analytics for attendance patterns and summaries Enabling integration with HR or payroll systems
