The inspiration for AttackMapper AI came from a simple problem:
Security teams have many tools, but they still struggle to understand what actually matters first.
Traditional scanners show long lists of issues, and SOC teams receive too many alerts. This makes it hard to see the real attack paths an attacker might use.
We wanted to build something that:
Thinks like an attacker
Explains risks like a SOC analyst
Guides defenders clearly, not technically
AI made it possible to turn raw security data into clear, understandable intelligence. That is what inspired us to build AttackMapper AI.
What it does
AttackMapper AI helps organizations understand their security risks in real time.
It finds what systems are exposed on the internet
It analyzes security logs like a SOC analyst
It uses AI to understand attacker behavior
It tells teams what is risky and what to fix first
How we built it
We used AI Studio (Gemini) as a thinking engine, not a chatbot.
AI turns raw scan data and logs into clear security insights
It explains why something is risky
It gives step-by-step defensive recommendations
Challenges we ran into
Designing the system to be powerful without being intrusive
Converting raw logs and scan data into meaningful AI input
Making AI outputs clear, explainable, and structured
Balancing red-team thinking with blue-team responsibility
Building everything within limited hackathon time I heard late and I made this in very short time
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re proud of building a real-time, AI-driven security platform, and our biggest challenge was making it powerful, safe, and easy to understand at the same time.
What we learned
Security is not just scanning — it’s connecting signals
Small issues become big risks when combined
AI is most useful when it explains and prioritizes
Defensive, explainable AI is safer and more practical
What's next for Attackmapper Ai
Real-time monitoring (continuous scans & logs)
SIEM integration (Splunk / Elastic)
Automated response suggestions
Predictive risk scoring
