Project Story: Attachment StuApp
In Zimbabwe, university students are required to complete a mandatory one-year industrial attachment as part of their degree programs. However, finding suitable internships and housing during this period remains a major challenge. Many students face uncertainty, lack of access to verified opportunities, and limited support, which often leads to delays in completing their studies or settling for low-quality placements and accommodation. Attachment StuApp was created to solve this problem by providing a centralized digital platform that helps students easily find and apply for internships and secure safe, affordable housing. The idea came from students who experienced these struggles firsthand and recognized the urgent need for a reliable, student-focused solution. Attachment StuApp aims to streamline the entire process, reduce stress, and ensure that students are better supported during this critical stage of their academic journey.
