Inspiration
We work at an energy utility company in Denmark (Europe). There is no centralized credit score in Denmark, so we don't really have a way of easily assessing the creditworthiness of our clients. It's only really possible for a bank to make a proper credit assessment of consumers. Millions of businesses around the world are like us, they sell their services to consumer, but don't have a way to properly assess their credit. We have solved that.
What it does
Our solution makes it possible for a company to make a credit assessment of a consumer in a few clicks based on their banking data. It works in 16 countries around the world and it's wrapped in a beautiful UI that makes a truly delightful user experience. :)
How I built it
Backend; Laravel-framework (PHP) Frontend; React.JS, Apexcharts, Bootstrap (CSS), Atmos HTML Banking APIs; Plaid and Tink
Challenges I ran into
Streamlining the datamodels of multiple banking API into our database. Making a credit assesment model based
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We have made a solution that that can pull bank-data from approximately 500 million people. That's pretty nice, if you ask us!
What I learned
It's easier to integrate into all the banks into 16 countries than integrating to our company's supplier's billing system. Maybe they could learn a thing or two from Plaid. :)
What's next for Atrust
We have truly democratized the ability to asses consumers credit - and a lot of solutions can be build on top of that. I.e:
- Peer-to-peer lending
- Individualized payment terms for 500 million consumers
We could also build a recommendation engine
