It all started in a government office waiting room.

I was there trying to help someone apply for a basic service—a small business license. We thought we had everything ready. But after hours of waiting, we were told a new requirement had been added just last month, buried in a dense, 50-page policy document. We had missed it.

Looking around, I saw the same frustration on other faces—students confused about scholarship rules, seniors unsure about pension eligibility, immigrants overwhelmed by forms. Everyone was trying to follow the rules, but the rules weren’t easy to follow.

And I thought: Why is it easier to ask my phone about the weather in Tokyo than to understand a policy that affects my daily life?

That’s when the idea hit me: what if there were an AI assistant that could break down policies, explain requirements clearly, and guide people through government processes—24/7?

So I started building one.

Now, that assistant is real. It helps people understand government policies, instantly and accurately. And it’s just the beginning of making public services more human, accessible and smart.
