Inspiration Air quality and weather conditions directly affect health, travel, and daily planning, yet the data is often scattered across multiple platforms and presented in a complex way. We were inspired to build AtmosIQ to simplify atmospheric data and make it easily understandable for everyone, not just technical users.

What it does AtmosIQ is a web application that provides real-time and forecast-based air quality and weather insights. It visualizes key atmospheric parameters in a simple dashboard, helping users quickly understand pollution levels and weather conditions for informed decision-making.

How we built it We built AtmosIQ using Python and Streamlit for rapid development and deployment. External APIs are used to fetch real-time air quality and weather data. The data is processed and displayed through interactive charts and metrics to ensure clarity and usability.

Challenges we ran into Handling inconsistent API responses and missing data. Designing a clean UI while displaying multiple data points. Managing state and layout in Streamlit. Ensuring smooth deployment and performance.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Successfully integrating real-time environmental data. Creating a responsive and user-friendly dashboard. Deploying a fully functional web app within limited time. Clear visualization of complex atmospheric information.

What we learned We learned how to work with real-time APIs, handle data processing efficiently, and design intuitive dashboards. The project also improved our teamwork, problem-solving and rapid prototyping skills.

What's next for AtmosIQ Future plans include adding location-based alerts, historical trend analysis, health recommendations based on AQI levels and advanced predictive models using machine learning.
