With this user-friendly web app you can simply find nearby ATMs of near the NOVA area in a chosen mile radius of your current location. Get ATM timings & language services all in a single search! What are you waiting for? Your lush green paradise awaits!
What it does
Enter a city and country/state into the text finder. Enter the mile radius of your search. Hit locate & you're set! ATM Finder uses Capitol One's Nessi API to find ATMs in the greater Virginia-Maryland area.
How I built it
Using HTML, JavaScript, & CSS we collaborated in Cloud 9 to create ATM Finder.
Challenges We ran into
- Difficulty linking API to web code
- Accessing ATM Data
- HTTP vs. HTTPS (Mixed Media)
- Lack of sleep
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Integrating Google Maps
- Displaying ATM Locations on map
What I learned
We learned how to use APIs in our web code. Furthermore, we realized the need to start small and scale up rather than be too ambitious. Overall, we learned the importance of perseverance and teamwork!
