Inspiration

We used to play a similar game as kids where we would list out countries beginning with the previous country's last letter.

What it does

A game testing users on their geography with both single and multiplayer options

How we built it

We used Python for the application. More specifically, we used Tkinter for the app and Firebase for the online play

Challenges we ran into

Both Tkinter and Firebase are new for us, so it was a steep learning curve. Our main issue was making the frontend update when the database updated.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing the app :). More specifically, we are proud that we got the front-end and back-end to cooperate with each other.

What we learned

We learned a lot about app development and cloud development. We are both newcomers to hackathons in general so this whole experience was incredibly fun, but also difficult(not to mention painful).

What's next for Atlas

We hope to make this a real app one day and actually publish it.
