Athena

Athena was inspired by the struggles many students face when preparing for interviews, especially those who lack access to professional networks and resources. We created a platform that offers comprehensive support, including mock interviews and personalized feedback, to help students feel more confident in their job search. We built Athena using Hume for its cool features, and we chose TypeScript, Next.js, and Firebase to create a user-friendly experience. During development, we encountered challenges like integrating the technology and managing our time effectively, but we’re proud of how we came together as a team to create a functional prototype that received positive feedback from our peers. This project taught us important lessons about teamwork and focusing on what users really need. Moving forward, we plan to enhance Athena with features like AI-driven feedback and work on reaching more students to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed in their careers.
