Athena

Inspiration

Athena is inspired by Duolingo, Google classrooms and one of my old projects i made during Covid-19 which aimed to make education accessible to anyone.

What it does

Athena is an AI powered website made for people who are seriously Ill or sick like me to make education more accessible by using AI and Machine Learning to tutor the kid, make real time tests gathered by data of tutoring session. It can also project report of child in real time based on his performance.

How we built it

Backend: Python, Firebase Studios, Flask. Frontend: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Chart.js AI: Cohere API

I built it in a way to be like a game and more fun. The AI in it will motivate students and when they make a streak the website shows and animation.

Challenges we ran into

Connecting firestore database with AI, chats and test generation was a hectic task to do solo and it took a lot of effort.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making education accessible in a new way generation of AI.

What we learned

I learned a lot about how to make Websites and apps with AI and how AI can be used in EdTech.

What's next for Athena

I plan on using better models and custom models in future and expand data sets with more interactive and customizable panel.
