Inspiration
We built ATAPIC Companion because go-to-market teams lose time switching between tabs and tools when engaging with leads. Prospecting is fragmented, you find someone on LinkedIn or a website, then have to jump into a CRM, enrichment tool, or email platform. We wanted to eliminate that friction and bring GTM execution directly into the browser, right where the work happens.
What it does
ATAPIC Companion is a Chrome extension that streamlines GTM by performing real-time due diligence on leads. It enriches profiles, scores fit against your offer, and interprets digital footprints to uncover pain points, engagement strategies, and communication styles. Users can:
Add leads instantly to their list without leaving the page
Build and assign sequences in one click
See contextual insights like communication tone and engagement style
Make faster, more informed decisions on whether a lead is worth pursuing
How we built it
We developed the extension on top of our existing ATAPIC platform, which handles lead enrichment, scoring, and AI-driven analysis. The extension passes the lead’s URL to our backend, where our enrichment engine runs profile checks, gathers digital footprint signals, and applies our scoring model. The results are surfaced in real-time inside the browser.
Challenges we ran into
Ensuring smooth communication between the extension and our backend without exposing sensitive APIs.
Building a UI that feels lightweight and native to the browsing experience.
Handling variability in data sources some profiles have rich digital footprints, others very sparse.
Optimizing the enrichment pipeline to deliver insights quickly enough to be useful in real-time.
What we learned
Users want tools that work where they already are, not another tab or dashboard.
Real-time enrichment is only valuable if the insights are actionable, surfacing pain points and engagement cues mattered more than raw data.
Simplicity wins: the extension needed to be fast and frictionless to compete with the "just copy/paste into a CRM" mindset.
What’s next
We plan to expand ATAPIC Companion to:
Suggest engagement templates tailored to each lead’s communication style
Provide “next best action” recommendations
Integrate with more work flows seamlessly across the stack
