Inspiration
We were interested in the outlook of jobs in the space industry and wanted to analyze the dataset to get those insights.
What it does
AstroIntel is a launch control dashboard that: Visualizes space economy metrics (jobs, value added, compensation, output). & forecasts multi-year trends using ARIMA.
How we built it
Backend: Python, Flask Frontend: React, HTML/CSS
Challenges we ran into
Getting the model to properly show the forecasts, connecting the slider to the multi-year forecasts.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the ARIMA model to work and generate the outlooks for the various parts of the dataset.
What's next for AstroIntel
More insight-driven briefs to help assist stakeholders on moves to make, additional datasets to improve forecast success.
