Inspiration
Being in love with space, I'm fascinated by real-time orbital anomalies. I enjoy tracking spatial objects and celestial bodies and monitoring live for Near-Earth Objects (NEOs) to stay informed on Earth's cosmic neighborhood, maybe we get to solve the mystery of black hole.
What it does
This project detects the nearest asteroid and the nearest planets to travel to.
How we built it
The application is built to track asteroids, planetry status and ai mission intel for travelling.
Challenges we ran into
API limit : We had a strict daily limit on requests. To avoid getting "locked out," we had to be efficient with every single data fetch.
AI "Space Lessons": We had to train Gemini AI to translate dry NASA math into interesting mission briefings that regular humans actually want to read.
The Lag Factor: Keeping a high-tech dashboard with moving charts smooth on a phone is tricky. We spent a lot of time "greasing the wheels" so it wouldn't slow down.
Gigantic Math: Space numbers are too big to understand. We built a translator to turn astronomical units into simpler terms like "Lunar Distance."
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we built an automated system for potential space threats and can warn us with out getting into the technical bulkiness of astronomy.
What we learned
we learned how to make cool projects that solves problems no matter of niched the problem may be.
What's next for Astro probe
As space is ever expanding so will the astro probe system and a potential black hole simulator can be added to it to see how the math goes with it, and using DNA modification data, we can see how space can alter our DNA so that we are aware of every possible outcome before launching living beings in to space.
