Astral is a cross-platform multiplayer sandbox game with an astral projection ability

Thank you for taking the time to check out my game,

Astral is the first game I've ever released. The inspiration came a lot from great sandbox games such as minecraft, the sims, Forza & even GTA

What is Astral??? Astral is a sandbox game that (while still work in progress) plays the same consistently across every device. I wanted players on Android, iPhone, PC, and VR to all share the same experience without separate versions or limitations. Every platform may host or join a lobby with one another at any moment.

Core features

  • Place & Enter vehicles & buildings
  • Create peer-to-peer lobbies and play together across PC, mobile, and VR
  • Astral Project from the menu

Game Modes

  • Gunfight, a COD-style free for all shooter mode with weapons purchasable in the shop(press the "+" next to the money display in the shop for free money while game is WIP)

  • Free Build, Inventory tab shows every item in the game for FREE :0

  • Sandbox, The game will start in this mode for now it doesn't have much to do

I built Astral with the Unity game engine and the following...

  • Netcode for GameObjects, Relay & Lobby for cross-platform connections
  • Azure PlayFab for backend services
  • BNG VR Framework for VR interaction
  • Universal Vehicle Controller by Perfect Games for vehicle physics

Key systems developed specifically for Astral:

  • Custom input system supporting iPhone, Android, Windows, controllers, and VR headsets under one unified script

What's next for Astral: VR Edition

  • Dedicated servers for smoother multiplayer
  • New minigames to expand playable content
  • NPC's with functional Dialogue
  • Hundreds More Items
  • Marketplace where players can share and download custom maps

//HOW TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER please pause the game and select Lobby Browser //Have player one pause their game then select "Host" ( or "Host Public Lobby" ) //Have player two pause their game and select Lobby Browser, They will then see your lobby //You may also ask player 1 for a join code and use the Input Field labeled Join Code

//Please beware as of December 22 2025 there are no single player mini games; There is a free build mode where you may obtain and place any Item in the game and a Gunfight mode for Multiplayer. AI is in progress currently for Gunfight / PVP
