Inspiration

We got our inspiration from trying to help our community with challenges that some of us have gone through, when being in these scenarios and not being informed . This way we teach things that could have been really helpful to know before doing this financial decisions.

What it does

This is an interactive module where users get real life financing scenarios to practice and get tips.

How we built it

We built it in Ren'Py and Python

Challenges we ran into

We had some experience coding in Ren'Py but we ran through some challenges trying to make multiple choices and calculations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create a simulation that helps you go through buying your car and issues that you can run if its your first time doing this.

What we learned

We deepened our understanding in constructing our ideas in a short amount of time, working as a team and building a project and coding in Ren'Py.

What's next for Astral Auto-Financing Advisors

We are enhancing this idea to cover more real life scenarios like buying a house, issues you can run when you don't pay your loans, what happens when you consolidate your debt, getting your first credit card, etc....
