AstraFlow SOP generator

Inspiration

Businesses rely on Standard Operating Procedures, but creating clear documentation is slow and inconsistent. AstraFlow was built to help teams transform simple workflow descriptions into professional SOPs instantly.

What it does

AstraFlow is an AI-powered SOP generator. Users describe their business process in natural language, and GPT-5.6 creates a structured operating procedure with roles, steps, quality checks, and escalation paths.

Generated SOPs are securely stored with Supabase authentication, searchable through history, and exportable as PDFs.

How we built it

AstraFlow was built using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Supabase, and OpenAI APIs.

The application uses:

• Next.js App Router for the web platform
• Supabase Auth and Database for secure user data
• OpenAI GPT-5.6 for SOP generation
• Markdown rendering for structured documentation
• PDF export for business-ready documents

Challenges

The biggest challenge was designing a reliable AI workflow that converts unstructured business descriptions into consistent professional documentation while maintaining user security and data persistence.
