Inspiration

The inspiration for our project was the desire of one teammate to make a game in Unity to help prepare them for their coursework later in the year. Though the idea of asteroid exploding actually came from a combining of the main exploration theme with the theme of chained events. It involves the use of a chain of explosions to reach a destination and the end goal opening up exploration for the future.

What it does

It allows a player to fly around in a little spaceship, setting off explosions wherever they bump into.

How we built it

We built it using Unity 6000.0.25f1.

Challenges we ran into

Three of the four members had no prior use of Unity, while one had a bit of experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The implementation of movement and explosions went surprisingly smoothly, especially considering they were coded by the team members with limited experience.

What we learned

We all learned a bunch of Unity to be able to work on this project.

What's next for Asteroid Explosion Simulator
