Inspiration
We were inspired by Bennet Foddy and his "Eleven Flavors of Frustration"
What it does
Our game is built to quiz the player on the basics of insurance that they will need to know in their future.
How we built it
We built it using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
We faced the challenge of implementing the features we thought were most important given time constraints, as well as the fact that all of us were first-time Hackathon attendees.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to finish a program we started in 24 hours while learning everything as we went and having fun while doing so.
What we learned
We learned how to handle interactions between HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, receive input from the user, and how to create a game that is both fun and educational at the same time.
What's next for Assurance
What's next for Assurance is a wide variety of features that will make the game more fun, diverse, and educational as we will have more time to work on it afterwards.
