Inspiration

We wanted to **educate** people on the assimilation of First Nations in Canada, and also inspire the readers to take action to better the community, or donate.

What it does

It educates and encourages the readers to learn more about the topic and tests their knowledge with a tiny game.

How we built it

We used HTML to create the elements we wanted, then used CSS to make the elements aesthetically pleasing. Much was learned through help from other people with the same problems on the internet, and we learned at least something new about coding and how to run the team together.

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble coming up with an idea at first, and once we settled on one we had the technical aspects to deal with. We started off with this grand idea of a beautiful website, and it was very difficult trying to make that ginormous idea into something reasonable that could get done on time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We came out of this event with a lot more practice on the skills we already had, and picked up some new concepts and skills along the way. We definitely learned more about how to collaborate with each other and figured out how to manage our time to create something reasonable in the time given.

What we learned

We learned more about coding (different elements and how to interact with them, as well as finding solutions to problems we were facing), teamwork, and how to manage our time more effectively.

What's next for Assimilation of First Nations in Canada(Educational Website)

Maybe it will continue to get worked on, refined a bit more, but it's more likely that after this event it will be left untouched.
