Assignment Reminder

Inspiration

Online education has its pros and cons. During my online education I have had a close calls with most of my assignments or submissions so I made a google assistant action that will nag me till I get it done.

What it does

The push notifications are not working at the moment so it basically reads the assignment deadline and the topic or subject and stores them in a session variable.

How we built it

I used google actions console to make the conversational part.

Challenges we ran into

This was my first time working with google actions so I faced some difficulty on where to start.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I created a basic conversational model with the google assistant.

What we learned

I learned how google assistant handles conversations, how I can use webhooks to transfer data to and from an endpoint

What's next for Assignment Reminder

I really really hope to accomplish my original goal to add push notifications that will nag you multiple times a day
