Inspiration
We live in a world overflowing with social apps, but it’s still hard to actually make plans with our people or discover fun things to do without tricky algorithms.
Post-pandemic life has shown us how much we crave real connection. People want to show up for their wellness and their people. Local businesses want to be more than just vendors—they want to be gathering points. Assemble sits right at that intersection: social planning meets communal wellness meets local discovery.
What it does
Assemble 🧩, a social-wellness platform designed to help people connect—with their own communal goals, their friends, and their local community spaces. We make it easy to setup and share gatherings, invite your loops, and suggest great nearby places or experiences—whether that’s a yoga class, a café meetup, or a neighborhood event. In the next iteration, we are looking to introduce communal goals (like “Move more,” “Meet once a week,” or “Support local spots”) for a fun incentive program.
How I built it
Initially started with Lovable.dev, but then migrated to Bolt.New
Challenges I ran into
I'm technically non-technical! And in the same spirit of community, I'd love to build this app in community with some really talented people.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
There's been great feedback from initial users!
What I learned
Simpler is better! I'm learning to optimize for more straightforward user flows.
What's next for Assemble
I’m looking for curious collaborators of all talents — designers, developers, sponsorship pros, storytellers — who believe in real-world connection and want to build something purpose-driven from the ground up. If you’re excited about building tech that gets people off their phones and into community, let’s talk and Assemble something beautiful. 💫
