Inspiration
We found out that some people loves listen to ASMR while working or taking a rest, this gives them momentum and encourages them to move on in their day and work. Therefore, we make a pomodoro clock that people can easily use it to manage their time while having the momentum to get things done.
What it does
It basically implements pomodoro clock where people can set tasks they are going to complete and the reps (25 minute work with 5 minute rest). While it start, they can finish their task gradually and listen to ASMR (boy/girl version) while taking a rest.
How we built it
We use HTML/CSS to build up the structure of the website, and use Javascript to deal with the interactions with the client. For example, posting tasks and start/stop the clock, and playing ASMR.
Challenges we ran into
It has been a long time since we write web using HTML/CSS/javascript, so we spent some time to regain our memory to how exactly to do everything. Happily, we gradually catch up the pace and finish it on time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the idea we have came across. Since there are so many ways to do time management, but the problem is that it is hard for people to stick with the plan and finish the tasks. We believe using ASMR voices can give people momentum and push people to finish their tasks successfully.
What we learned
We regain the knowledge of making basic HTML/CSS/javascript and successfully finished this really cool project within 48 hours.
What's next for ASMR Podomoro Clock
We might try to make the UI/UX more elegant and maybe add some pictures that makes you think someone is actually by your side encouraging you to study or work while playing the ASMR soundtrack.
