Inspiration
We wanted to find a way to make learning ASL accessible and fun for kids.
What it does
It's a website that teaches basic ASL through fun games and interactive designs.
How we built it
We used figma to create the prototype. In the future, we would incorporate it with JavaScript to have a backend code to help support the growth of this website.
Challenges we ran into
Figma has a paywall, so we figured out a start of a solution by copying the CSS code from figma instead of exporting it, which requires a subscription to do.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of learning and teaching Figma to each other along with creating cute designs that can later be used to have backend code alongside it.
What's next for ASLGo
We hope to expand it by incorporating JavaScript with it so that there is a more efficient work flow when it comes to adding more words with a database of ASL words to teach.
