  Empowering Silence, Unlocking Voices: Your Sign Language Translator

Inspiration

During a garden stroll, my companion and I met an elderly man who was both deaf and mute, struggling to communicate. Despite our efforts, we couldn't understand his sign language. Moved by his plight, we developed an ASL translator, revolutionizing communication for the deaf and mute. The technology united communities, empowering all to interact meaningfully. Our encounter became the catalyst for an inspiring tale of empathy, innovation, and bridging communication gaps.

What it does

It converts sign language to text as well as sign langauage to voice.

How we built it

We build it by using HTML,CSS for frontend and Python for backend.

During hackathon we learnt Practical Python Implementation,new technologies,teamwork and collaboration.

What's next for ASL Translator

making a text to sign language translator as well; and feeding it more data so it can recognize all signs.
