Inspiration

The theme this year is accessibility, and one issue that rang through for me regarding this theme was the lack of ability for deaf people to communicate with the one's around them. This inspired me to create something(with my basic coding knowledge) that would give some sort of a means of communication between the deaf and their peers.

What it does

My project gives users the ability to communicate with their hearing impaired friends at a basic level. Users are first asked how long their word/sentence is. Once they answer this, they input letter by letter how to spell what they want to say and are given a picture of each letter so they can enact it to their friends.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I feel proud I could accomplish making this project. I came in as a beginner just trying to get something coded by the end of the day. I didn't realize I would make something that could actually be used in the real world.
