Inspiration

Learning online can be confusing or slow, especially for beginners. I wanted to create a tool that gives fast, clear, and structured answers to any question. Using Gemini 3 Flash Preview, I realized I could build an AI assistant that helps people learn, explore ideas, and solve problems in one place.

What it does

AskGemini is an AI assistant that answers questions across multiple topics like education, coding, and general knowledge. It explains concepts step-by-step, provides examples, and even generates simple code for programming questions. Users can ask naturally and get useful responses in real time.

How we built it

The app was built using Google AI Studio with Gemini 3 Flash Preview. Gemini handles all the understanding and reasoning behind the answers. I designed a simple, clean interface with a dark theme to focus on the content and make the experience smooth and user-friendly.

Challenges we ran into

Sometimes Gemini Flash Preview could be slow or slightly inconsistent with complex questions. I also had to think carefully about prompts to get clear, structured answers every time. Designing a simple interface that matched the dark theme and highlighted the AI responses was another challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I created a fully working AI assistant in a short time that can answer diverse questions accurately. The project shows how Gemini 3 can be integrated into a practical, interactive tool, even using the Flash Preview version. The clean, dark-themed interface makes the app feel modern and professional.

What we learned
