Update: 1.0.5 approved and live on iOS and Android before the deadline
Our last update said 1.0.5 was in progress. It's done: Ashenmarch 1.0.5 was approved by Apple and Google and is live on the App Store and Google Play, ahead of the extended Shipaton deadline (October 1, 12:00 PM).
1.0.5 is the First Conquest release, a rebuilt first day for every new runner:
- The Herald's charge: on Day 1 the app names a real Crown holding near you and frames the map on it, so your first run has a clear target.
- Live enclosure: shading and a live readout during every march show how much ground your loop is closing.
- A first conquest that teaches: after your first claim, "what's next" guidance shows where to go next. A march that doesn't close a loop now shows what to fix instead of an error.
- Teaching empty states on the Armoury, Empire and Market screens replace the old tutorial tour.
- Fixes and polish: house naming, Strava import checks, push re-registration, and translation fixes across English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
Every change came from watching real players' first days since our August 31 launch.
