Program that allows you to easily create and save artistic images. Includes a variety of drawing brush styles and colors, user can easily store and load creations.

Inspiration

With Pixel Paint, we wanted to find a way to express artistic creativity. We were inspired by digital art programs such as Microsoft Paint.

What it does

Pixel Paint creates a blank canvas that the user can draw on. The program includes a variety of colors and drawing settings, allowing the user to express their creativity to the fullest. Artworks can be saved and loaded after completion.

How we built it

We coded the program completely in C, dividing and conquering specific functions amongst team members and creating a cohesive program using Git and GitHub.

Challenges we ran into

Merging separate branches into a single cohesive functional program, creating a complex program in a limited time frame.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was our first time using GitHub as a team, and we learned how to subdivide a program into smaller parts that each member could tackle respectively.

What we learned

How to use GitHub and Git and how to contribute individual skillsets to a larger, more complex problem.

What's next for Pixel Paint

Add more colors and drawing settings; possible image generation.
