Inspiration
Arrow tap was inspired by one of the submissions of Jason Lengstorf's Web Dev challenge

I wanted to see how capable Bolt was at recreating it.
What it does
It's a simple game where you tap the correct arrow as it appears.
How we built it
- Lots of prompt fine-tuning on bolt
- Uploading design images to push it in the right direction
- Using generative AI to style the design before giving the bolt
Challenges we ran into
I had to walk through the exact steps of making the UI, particularly the arrows, it failed a lot in getting the exact aesthetic despite providing an SVG as part of the prompt, I had to create a design.png and add it to the prompt for the entire screen to push it in the right direction.
Aside from the above, it was mostly a lot of prompt fine-tuning.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- It finally worked and captured what was in my head to a good degree.
What we learned
- Bolt may become my go-to tool for prototyping and scaffolding.
What's next for Arrow tap
- It's done, it's a simple game, not much else needed.
Built With
- bolt
- canva
- flux
