Financial advisors charge $200 an hour and serve the wealthy. 4.5 billion people make complex financial decisions with no guidance, no support in their language, no understanding of their context. Gemini 3 launched with deep thinking and native multilingual reasoning. For the first time, we could build a mentor that thinks in Hindi, Yoruba, Swahili — not translates. That capability demanded this application.

What it does

Aryam is a voice-first financial mentor. Speak naturally in Hindi, Yoruba, Swahili, Urdu, or 15+ languages. Aryam reasons through your question using Gemini 3 Pro with thinking_level HIGH, then responds with guidance localised to your country's tax laws, savings instruments, and currency. YouTube tutorials and official government sources surface automatically. Pricing follows purchasing power parity so everyone can afford it.

  • Country-specific prompt engineering for 24 markets covering tax codes, local instruments, and cultural financial practices

Challenges we ran into

Getting Gemini to reason in Yoruba while citing Nigerian CBN policies required careful prompt engineering. Streaming responses while extracting YouTube recommendations mid-generation needed custom parsing. Balancing deep thinking latency with voice conversation flow took iteration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A farmer in Kenya and a chartered accountant in London receive the same quality reasoning, adapted to their context, in their language, at prices they can afford. That felt right.

What we learned

Gemini 3's native multilingual thinking is transformative. It does not translate — it reasons in the target language. This changes what's possible for the global majority.
