Inspiration

ARVideo Music scene Nice to use in a disco, capturing video & audio from the dance area and applying creative filters to the video, according to the played music.

What it does

• 1. Captures live webcam video.
• 2. Captures live microphone audio.
• 3. Smooths microphone volume.
• 4. Changes video filters according to sound level.
• 5. Makes gradual crossfade transitions between filters.
• 6. Detects musical beats using a simple energy-based detector.
• 7. Overlays a pulse effect whenever a beat is detected.

How we built it

Install Processing 4 programming language and run in Java mode.

• - Minim Basic structure developed with GPT 5.6, enhanced and corrected with CODEX.
