Inspiration

The current situations have allowed many people to explore the creative side of themselves. Today many people make various arts such as painting, sketches, dancing and cooking. Unfortunately not all of them are credited for their work. Therefore, we decided to create this tab which allows artists to get recognition for their work and lets them explore themselves.

What it does

This app is similar to a social media app where you can upload art related content. This will include things like paintings, sketches, cooking, drawing, singing, and other various arts. Later this app will show the pictures to other viewers who are able to comment and critique the art work. Along with that, private-messaging is also available to chat with others. The website currently only has the option of live chat for now.

How we built it

-We first came up with a basic idea of how the app should look. Then we created a website based on which we could create the app later. The website basically includes everything that the app is supposed to include and is a very good starting point. Based on the feedback we get for our website, we would create the app using advanced coding languages such as Java.

Challenges we ran into

The main problem that we ran into while completing this task is the lack of time. The time limit prevented us from fully developing our app on time that would function properly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

-We are proud to come up with this idea and able to make a website that the app will largely be based off of.

What we learned

-We learned that we still need improvement in the area of programming and time management.

What's next for Artisque

Artistique would become an app next! An app which would be focused on the promotion of art and artists. It would have features like digital drawing, private-messaging, the ability to upload videos and have people critique them, etc.
