What we learned :

"Artificial Intelligence" term was coined by John McCarthy. It is a technique of getting machines to work and behave like humans.It is the science of getting machines to mimic the behaviour of humans. Machine learning is a subset of it that focuses on getting machines to make decisions by feeding them data and deep learning is a subset of ML that uses the concept of neural networks to solve complex problems. AI, ML, DL are interconnected fields. ML & DL aids AI by providing a set of algorithms & neural networks to solve data driven problems.

There are three types of AI : Artificial Narrow Intelligence, Artificial General Intelligence, Artificial Super Intelligence.

ANI is weak AI involves applying AI only to specific tasks. Eg. Alexa, Face verification, Auto-pilot by Tesla, Social humanoid Sophia, Finding paths through Google maps.

AGI is strong AI, involves machines that possess the ability to perform any task that a human being can. Stephen Hawking said that "Strong AI'd take off on its own, & redesign itself at an ever-increasing rate." For eg. Thinking like humans, playing games like them. Many think it can't be possible and many others question should it be desirable.

ASI refers to the time when the capability of computers will surpass humans. As of now it's hypothetical situation but Elon Musk believes AGI'd take over the world by 2040. What it can do ? Spotting an eight-planet solar system which is 2500 light years away.

AI exists in our daily life now when Google, Youtube, Fb gives one recommendations in their feed, when one searches on google, indentifying hate speech and terroristic language in tweets used by Twitter, the Google Duplex (Google assistant).
