Inspiration

I was tired of social media apps compressing my art and cutting off the edges with awkward cropping. I wanted a digital space that actually respects the work I put into my tradition drawings.

What it does

Art Book is a digital gallery with a "zero-crop" engine that displays art in its original aspect ratio, keeping the focus on the details.

How we built it

I designed a simple, neat UI with a neutral background that lets the pencil lines and colors stand out without distraction.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the right background that worked for both soft graphite shading and bright, vibrant paintings was a balancing act.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I created a professional-looking space where my art finally looks the way it was means to be seen.

What we learned

I learned how much social media filters and compression ruin the quality of fine art.

What's next for Art Book

I want to add a zoom feature so viewers can get a close-up look at the textures and fine details.
