Inspiration

To create a new solution to a big challenge!

What it does

It analyzes the user's BPM through breathing exercises to create a unique spirograph!

How we built it

We built it using an Arduino R3, a Heart Sensor, LEDs, Java, Python, and lots of LEGOs!

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we ran into was deciding on a single idea, as we all had the same goal, we knew there were multiple ways to use art and technology to create a meaningful impact.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. That we finished!
  2. That our work is one of a kind and embodies the uniqueness of our project!

What we learned

We learned to adapt when overcoming obstacles. Despite this is not being our first idea/attempt, we were able to adjust to the rapid prototyping environment of Break to Make to create something we are all proud of.

What's next for Art Beat

  1. Adding more customization with spirograph colors!
  2. Expanding our prototype to women, youth, and wellness organizations!
