The number of people with impaired vision worldwide is about 285 million, of which 246 million have residual vision. In other words, nearly 85% of the "blind" group has visual residuals and light perception. How can we light up their life using digital technologies?

What it does

ARssistant is an App that helps the blind to schedule the day easier and brings them daily companion. It uses voice to text recognition to help them schedule the day. A build-in smart chatbot function gives them daily companionship, by reminding the user to add more clothes, reminds them of their daily schedule, or do certain things in a personal way. This app is not only suitable for the blind people. It’s just like a private custom assistant, can also be used to accompany the elderly who lives alone and all those who need to be accompanied. It also uses bright colours to stimulate the visual pleasure for the special group/
