Inspiration

Our group is often late to things, for example whenever we plan hangouts, we always come 15 minutes late.

What it does

Our project is aimed to help people manage time and have set times for departure and arrival, while accounting the amount of traffic.

How we built it

We coded in HTML, CSS, Javascript and used a Google Maps api to help us track traffic, location, and destination.

Challenges we ran into

We couldn't get the api working and we needed a credit card to sign in to get access to the api which was a pain. We struggled on making it dynamic and making it work on multiple use-cases.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of persevering through our challenges and going having to face our challenges. Lastly, overall creating an amazing project which will help others in their everyday lives.

What we learned

We learned how to use api keys and explore more of HTML, CSS, and javascript

What's next for Arrival

We will attempt to further improve our database to improve accuracy of our results.

I worked mainly on the presentation part of the project and the devpost. I created the API key from google maps and I also helped debugging the code and using logic to solve problems.

Chintan Gharpure
I was mainly the backend programmer in this section. I covered accessing the API's and the logic for the values, while connecting the front end and logic. I also helped debug when necessary.

adityaSureshCHS Suresh
I worked on both the front-end and back-end and created the majority of the HTML and CSS code. I learned how to integrate the Google Maps API and helped out with some of the JavaScript as well. I also helped debug many of the problems we ran into while testing and helped rethink how we approached some problems. Finally, I hosted the website on GitHub pages, edited the video, and added the final touches to the site.
