Arra is an online platform that helps universities add a memorable element to their on-campus visiting experience. Currently, universities focus too much on facts and figures in their signage that leaves people wanting a more emotional connection to the space they are standing in. The services that do showcase these humanizing stories are not always available (tours and student orientation).
Arra allows important stories to be recorded and placed around campus at landmarks where they are relevant. Universities can curate the landmarks and stories they wish to be featured on campus, and with the Arra app visitors can effectively navigate about the space. When a user reaches a location they are interested in, all of the audio content at that site is unlocked so they can listen to the voice of someone who experienced history at the place where they experienced it!
