Inspiration
Arogya.AI was inspired by a clear gap we repeatedly observed: people don’t get help early enough. Patients detect health problems only when they become serious, doctors struggle without complete history, and rural communities lack access to specialists. Missed medications, missed follow-ups, and fragmented medical data turn simple issues into emergencies.
We realized that healthcare needs to shift from reactive to preventive — with AI playing the central role. The idea of building a platform that continuously monitors patients, assists doctors, simplifies daily care tasks, and uses AI to catch problems early became the driving force behind Arogya.AI.
The project was inspired by one goal: to create a connected, intelligent system where no patient is left unseen, unheard, or untreated.
What it does
Arogya.AI is an intelligent healthcare platform that transforms fragmented, reactive care into continuous, preventive, and connected healthcare. It provides:
Early Detection: AI analyzes symptoms, images, and videos to identify health issues early — even before they become serious.
Continuous Monitoring: Tracks medication, diet, hydration, vitals, and daily habits with automated reminders and AI verification.
Unified Medical History: All reports, treatments, accidents, and prescriptions stored in one secure profile accessible to any doctor.
AI Compliance Checking: Confirms if patients followed instructions (e.g., took medicine or ate correctly) using image/video validation.
Doctor Dashboard: Shows risk alerts, patient trends, compliance, and AI-generated insights to reduce doctor workload.
Patient Dashboard: Simple daily tasks, health stats, reminders, and telehealth options for easy self-care.
Chat with Arogya (AI Assistant): Helps patients with symptoms, guidance, and instant triage, and supports doctors with summaries and insights.
Telehealth & Collaboration: Enables chat, call, video consultations, and specialist support for local doctors.
How we built it
Arogya.AI was developed using a modern, scalable tech stack:
Frontend: React.js and Tailwind CSS for web, React Native for mobile, with intuitive dashboards and responsive design.
Backend: Node.js with Express.js to handle APIs, authentication, real-time updates, and AI integrations.
Database: MongoDB for unified patient records, Redis for caching reminders and session data.
AI & Machine Learning: Python with TensorFlow and PyTorch for symptom analysis, image/video verification, compliance tracking, and health trend predictions.
Security: JWT authentication, encrypted storage, role-based access control to ensure privacy.
Deployment: Vercel for frontend, Render/AWS for backend and AI services, with CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
Prototype & Design: Built using Base44 for interactive, clean, and futuristic dashboards.
We focused on accessible design, AI-driven automation, and seamless integration to ensure both patients and doctors can use the platform effortlessly, even in low-connectivity areas.
