Inspiration
With the increasing online presence of children, their exposure to cybersecurity threats like inappropriate content, online predators, cyberbullying, phishing, and scams has significantly risen. These risks compromise children's privacy, personal information, and mental health. Many children remain vulnerable due to inadequate cybersecurity protocols, low digital literacy, and insufficient parental guidance.
What it does
To address these challenges, I have developed Armor, a comprehensive cybersecurity education platform designed to protect children online. Armor customizes educational content on cybersecurity based on the child's age, learning pace, and comprehension level. Armor adjusts lessons to ensure effective learning. Interactive chatbots engage children in conversations about cybersecurity, answering their questions and providing guidance on safe online practices. Armor performs tasks efficiently and provide relevant information. Additionally, Armor offers tailored advice and resources for parents to help them discuss online safety with their children and manage digital habits.
How we built it
Armor was built using Flutter and Dart. It uses Gemini API with python to make the chatbot.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was making the website appealing to the eye and making it user friendly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The main accomplishment that we are proud of is making our app successful in reaching it's aim.
What we learned
I have learned many different ways to make the website user friendly, using Gemini API in the app.
What's next for Armor
I will be improving the AI Models, User Personalised content, and taking realtime feedback from the users.
