Inspiration

Armadillos has inspired us for this project. Their unique shells protect them from predator while still being able to move freely.

What it does

Our design helps athletes be able to move with a full range of motion while still being protected on the field.

How we built it

We added a double layer on the gear to help with shock absorption, and the varied layer help the player with mobility.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge we ran into was creating an accurate CAD representation. As we are using flexible material it was difficult to show this through CAD.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

An accomplishment we are proud of is our innovative idea. We believe this can help athletes not get injured on the field. It can also allow them to perform and their best self.

What we learned

One thing we learned is the complication behind creating a new idea and researching all the materials and costs needed for the item.

What's next for Armo-Gear

We hope to make various other sports equipment's that fit the athletes needs. Focusing on the comfort and efficiency of the players.
