Inspiration

AI is becoming increasingly autonomous, but trust hasn't kept pace. Regulations like the EU AI Act highlight the need for transparency, accountability, and governance in AI systems.

That inspired me to build Arkvoid—a platform that helps developers monitor, audit, and govern autonomous AI agents. My goal is to contribute to a future where AI is not only powerful but also trustworthy and responsible, creating technology that can have a positive global impact.

What it does

Arkvoid is an AI governance and observability platform for autonomous AI agents.

It provides:

  • Real-time monitoring of AI agent activity
  • Decision traceability and audit logs
  • Compliance dashboards
  • Secure authentication and role-based access
  • APIs and infrastructure for building trustworthy AI systems

Arkvoid helps developers understand what their AI agents are doing, why they made a decision, and whether they comply with governance requirements.

How we built it

Although the project says "we," Arkvoid was built entirely by me.

I'm not a traditional software developer. I'm self-taught and learned by building real projects with the help of AI coding tools.

I built Arkvoid primarily using my Android phone, leveraging AI-assisted development throughout the process.

AI helped me learn faster, debug problems, explore new technologies, and ship features that would have taken me much longer otherwise.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was building a complex SaaS platform without a traditional development background or a laptop.

Learning modern frameworks, backend architecture, authentication, databases, and deployment while simultaneously building the product required constant experimentation and problem-solving.

Designing a system that balances usability, scalability, security, and AI governance was also a significant challenge.

  • Created a working AI governance platform from the ground up.
  • Learned modern full-stack development through real-world building instead of a traditional CS background.
  • Built and deployed the project primarily from an Android phone using AI-assisted development.
  • Turned an ambitious idea into a functioning product focused on responsible AI.

What we learned

Building Arkvoid reinforced that AI is more than just generating responses—it's becoming infrastructure.

As AI agents become more autonomous, observability, governance, and accountability will be just as important as model performance.

I also learned that curiosity, persistence, and modern AI tools can dramatically lower the barrier to building sophisticated software.

What's next for Arkvoid

Arkvoid is just getting started.

The roadmap includes:

  • Deeper AI agent observability
  • Automated policy enforcement
  • Expanded support for compliance frameworks, including the EU AI Act
  • Better developer SDKs and APIs
  • Enterprise integrations
  • Multi-agent monitoring and governance

The long-term vision is for Arkvoid to become the trust layer that enables organizations around the world to build and deploy AI systems safely, responsibly, and at scale.
