Aritzia Fit Quiz

Inspiration

We came up with the idea for a fashion outfit quiz because it tailors the online shopping experience to the customer, creates a feeling of luxury, helps the customer discover new products, and it also makes it easier to find an entire outfit at once.

What it does

When a customer comes onto the website looking for a complete outfit, or even just outfit inspiration, they can go to this quiz and be directed to personalized complete outfits they can purchase on the website, hashtags that they can post to, and other Aritzia outfit posts they can engage with.

How we built it

We used javascript, html, and css to create the page, we watched some tutorials, and had help and suggestions from the mentors.

Challenges we ran into

We tried a few different strategies to actually execute our idea, but due to us not having much technical experience or skills, we wet through many different options until we found one that we thought was within our capabilities.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning enough of a new coding language to make something functional within 24 hours

What we learned

This was the first coding project for all of us, so we had to roughly learn how to use javascript, html, and css.

What's next for Aritzia Fit Quiz

We would make things more complex on the coding side to increase the accuracy of the results matched to the customer. We would integrate the social media posts and hashtags into the website further to increase that engagement and interactiveness.
