Inspiration

In India, bands are not able to get together easily. To bridge this gap and create new opportunities for amateur artists we thought of Aria. It would revolutionize the music scene, as it delocalizes the bands and provides the opportunity to form bands without the restraints of location. We also thought of other features to provide ease for the music artists and music enthusiasts.

What it does

Aria was inspired in order to form a community of amateur artists who support and lift each other. It is a platform that provides a place to form new bands and a place where people can connect in order to communicate and jam together via jam rooms based on different genres. It also gives upcoming artists the opportunity to get in the eyes of the public, as it has a leader board feature. We also have the option of buying and selling musical instruments. We also plan on organizing events with the amateur bands in order to promote them.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, CSS, and bootstrap for the frontend and javascript, PHP, MySQL, etc for the backend. Jam room using Javascript and node.js Login/signup page using PHP, MySQL Chatbot using Dialogflow Leaderboard using javascript

Challenges we ran into

We ran into multiple challenges which made our team pull overnighters in order to meet the deadlines. We had problems in creating and hosting our chat room and log-in page at first. The front-end designing of the site was time-consuming and tiresome. We weren't able to publically host our local host applications like the jam room and login page hosting the site altogether.

What is next for Aria

We plan on taking our project into the real world as our country, that is India needs a platform like ours to influence the artists. We hope that we get successful in our little venture.
