Inspiration

We were inspired by the idea of an AR fitting-room. Thanks to this technology, it is now possible to choose clothes, headwear and other accessories without even leaving the house, which greatly improves the shopping process.

What it does

It allows you to try on one of the four pre-selected items. Three items are available directly from the virtual shelf and can be tried right away while one special item can be discovered by pointing rear camera on the special tracker surface.

How we built it

We built it using Spark AR Studio v69-v71 (patch editor was used for the most part of the build process).

Challenges we ran into

It may sound cliché, but one of the main challenges was getting everything to work together flawlessly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finished (at least to some point) product is something, that that we feel proud of.

What we learned

Basically everything related to SparkAR, since we started with almost zero knowledge of this product.

What's next for ARFit

A new virtual product range is on its way, and possibly some new tracker targets will be added soon.
