Inspiration

The most prevalent issue in group travel today is the inability to come to a fair consensus. For HomeAway, that means engagement without conversion. People spend time on the app endlessly suggesting things to each other, but they never actually book anything.

Our app, Are We There Yet, combats differences in budget, availability, and indecisiveness by creating a fun, intuitive way to suggest and settle on group trip ideas.

What it does

In the app, the users are presented with 3 major stages where they select and vote on key points such as when they’re going, where they’re going, and what they’re doing. At the end, each participant is presented a listing of the most-liked destinations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Are We There Yet satisfies several metrics that are important to HomeAway. In particular, customer engagement and conversion. By turning group travel planning into an enjoyable, bonding experience, the app will encourage more users to download the app, proliferate overall app usage, and, most importantly, increase conversion. No more group trips that fall apart due to a lack of consensus or an inability to plan.
